>What is Food Therapy?

Food Therapy uses cooking as a form of communication, expression, mindfulness, and solidarity.

Many people struggle with loneliness, anxiety, or disconnection — often eating poorly, feeling uninspired, or finding it difficult to open up.

Through mindful cooking and creative engagement with ingredients, participants reconnect with themselves and others; cultivating vulnerability, gratitude, and joy through food.

COURSE OPTIONS

1️⃣ ONE-DAY EXPERIENCE – Mindful Connection through Food

Duration: 1 day (6 hours)**
Participants: up to 12

-Introduction to Food Therapy philosophy
-Guided mindfulness & sensory activation
-Cooking session focused on connection and creativity
-Group sharing and reflection circle

Goal: Discover the emotional and sensory power of food as a tool for awareness and connection.

2️⃣ ONE-MONTH COURSE – Foundations of Food Therapy

Format: 1 session per week (4 sessions total)
Session duration: 3 hours each → 12 hours total

-Week 1 – Cooking as mindfulness: grounding through ingredients
-Week 2 – Emotional connection and food memories
-Week 3 – Community cooking: communication through collaboration
-Week 4 – Integration dinner and gratitude practice

Goal: Build awareness of food’s emotional dimension and learn to use cooking as a personal therapy tool.

3️⃣ TWO-MONTH COURSE – Deep Connection & Awareness

Format: 1 session per week (8 sessions total)
Session duration: 3 hours each → 24 hours total

-Month 1 – Self-connection: intuition, nourishment, and self-care
-Month 1 – Sensory exploration: taste, color, rhythm, silence
-Month 2 – Group therapy through food: empathy and collaboration
-Month 2 – Designing mindful menus & shared dinners

Goal: Experience food as a bridge between inner balance and human connection.

4️⃣ THREE-MONTH COURSE – The Food Therapy Facilitator Path

Format options:

-Option A – 1 full-day workshop per month (6 hours each) → 18 hours total
Option B – 2 shorter sessions per month (3 hours each) → 18 hours total
-Month 1 – Foundations of Food Therapy & emotional awareness
-Month 2 – Group facilitation, mindful cooking, and empathy practice
-Month 3 – Leading your own Food Therapy session (final project & dinner)

Goal: Become capable of facilitating mindful cooking sessions for groups, families, or communities.
